I make a point of having DS, who's three, make cards for special occasions and thank yous. He loves to paint, write and do crafts so this is often a treat. Today's card is for his Nana. He painted the background at daycare with sparkly paint - it's beautiful. And helped Mommy mount the background onto the cardstock. He then "wrote" his message in his favourite purple pen on the inside. Mommy did the stamping. The flowers and sentiment were stamped with Memento and then embossed using clear embossing powder. I don't know why but the stamping on the paint created a translucent, wet look that is very soft and subtile. It looks great IRL. You want to try and hold the card at different angles to get the full effect.
