Simple Snowflake
I tried to pull off a LateBlossom and couldn't quite manage it. (If you haven't seen her Clean and Simple cards, you have to go to her blog. She's amazing!) This is my fourth attempt at this one layer card and I couldn't get from beginning to end without smudging something. I still like the simplicity of it though.
I started with the scalloped edge and placed a scrap of Brocade Blue on the bottom of the inside of the card. Would you have put it on the back of the front flap to keep the edges even? I then stamped the snowflake, and the sentiment. The sentiment was smudged on this one so I layered it and then added the rhinestone. The card was actually made days ago (with the smudge) and it took me a while to look beyond the mistake to how I could use it.
Challenges this card meets:
Sentimental Sundays - Snowflake and Sentiment
Stamptacular Sunday - Winter Wishes
Daring Cardmakers - Snow Much Fun
Creative Card Crew- Anything Goes
Bizzy Becs - Christmas
