Back to School
Only a teacher would by an embossing folder about school, but I just love the fact that I had it on hand for this week's challenge at For Fun Challenges. We are getting ready to go back to school. Of course, I've been getting ready for weeks now! I think I'll give this card to welcome my new student teacher.
The image is a vintage school desk, from our sponsor this week, the Digi Doodle Shop. When I was a kid, I always wanted to sit in desks like these. I also wanted to use a fountain pen until I realized how aweful it is to use when left handed. I was so crushed to see all my careful work smeared.
Hope you will join us!
Additional Challenges this card meets:
Colour Create - blue, green, red and brown
Creative Inspirations - Back to School
Mark's Finest Papers - Emboss It
One Stop Craft - Bold and Bright
Tuesday Throwdown - Dimension and Texture

I sat in those types of desks. During my first few years of teaching my kids (students to be pc) sat in them as well. Then we got tables with open "drawer" and separate chairs. Oh joy!
ReplyDeleteGreat back to school colours, bright and cheery and that is a neat image of a vintage desk :-)
