Blue Moon
Taking a break from dealing with sick kiddies while they're sleeping. I wasn't sure how long they'd be so I had to keep it simple. I pulled out some scraps and was inspired by the chipboard. I almost never touch it since I don't know what to do with it. I thought I'd play today. This was my attempt to cover it with scraps of DP. A bit finicky for the windows but a cool effect. I might try acrylic paint next.
The moon and grass fell out at me when I was looking for DP for the house. All scraps are at least 3 years old so I couldn't even tell you who makes them. I think the house may be Bo Bunny.
The sentiment came from Stamping Up's retired "Right At Home" set. I always like to have a spare card for when we get new neighbours.

Very cute use of the chipboard.
ReplyDeleteLike the uniqueness & use of the chipboard. The embossing & view inside the house are nice added touches. Thanks for entering MFP Simple Salutations Anything Goes challenge.

This is very sweet! It's so infrequent that we get new neighbors, that I never think of having a card on hand! Thanks for playing along with the Friends of Speedy TV!
ReplyDeleteOh how cool! Love how you embossed the moon. Thanks for joining in again this week with FOSTV.
