1 Little Monkey Jumping on the Bed
I desperately needed to make a shower card for my mom to give my future sister-in-law tonight. The shower is tomorrow and she asked me to make a card today. First I needed to clear off the mountain that is my table. Unfortunately, that is always my biggest downfall / creative inspritation. I've made 3 little boy birthday cards instead from the supplies I found on my table. I just couldn't help myself. They were all so cute. I also have very little girlie/wedding related items, making inspiration for the shower card a bit of a reach.
Anyways, the layout comes from this week's A Die for a Sketch challenge. The monkey was cut from some wrapping paper used for DS's first birthday. (He is now 6.) The sentiment is from Mark's Finest Papers' Background Fun set. The foam stars were given to me years ago when friends were moving away and needed to clear out some art supplies. The DP is from a pad I got on clearance from Walmart.
I just know that it will be well liked by the parents of which ever of DS's little friends receive it. I have no illusions that little boys even look at the cards...
