Pretty in Pink
I am so excited. I have been dying to tell for almost a month now. I have been chosen as a designer on Mark's Finest Paper's Sketch with a Twist Challenge. I can almost here you now. I know, I always seem to have an interesting "take" on sketches. This is going to be lots of fun.
This week the Sketch twist is to use paper tearing and paper tearing. This card uses two images from MFP's Dogwood Blossoms. The sentiment is from their Hello Trucks set. I paper pieced the images using scraps from some unknown DP. I also have a shameful secret. I can't tear paper in an even line. I used a paper tearing tool. Don't tell my husband. He would never understand. That said, we had a very important turning point in our relationship this weekend. I asked him to help me find my glasses and he told me that he won't look on my craft table. That's the first time in 8 years he's referred to it as my craft table and not our dining room table. It may take a while but I'm training him...

This is an amazing card, beautifully done!! Lovely colours :-) I hate trying to tear the paper and make it look nice, and have been oh, so tempted, many times to get one of those tearing tools....
