Vicki came up with a very classy layout this week. A really great one for using up those patterned paper scraps that seem to multiply in the night. The twist for this week's Sketch with a Twist is to make a Thank You card and I don't know about you, but I can never have too many of those. I chose to go with a Christmas Thank You since I realized I didn't have any in my stash. I am going to have to work on that.
I am slowly coming to the realization that I like Kraft paper. It just seems to make a card feel more masculine than using white as a background. Today's card is a tribute to the leftover sitting on my crafting table. The red and green panels were not even cut before mounting on the paper. The patterned paper was only cut a bit shorter before adding. I'm really liking the candycane embossing folder. I hadn't used it much but I think I will in the future. The sentiment is from MFP's Dogwood Blossoms.
Great card for using up some scraps! Beautiful thank you card.
