Baubley Christmas Fun

I'm sorry my post for MFP's Sketch with a Twist is a bit late.  I thought this was pre-set.  It's Christmas Concert week and things are Crazy!

I love the CAS layout this week.  The twist is to use stitching, either real or faux.  While I normally love any type of hand stitching, this week did not lend itself to that form of relaxation.  You'll see I used faux stitching around my die cut.

On a happier note, I've been playing with my new 'Tis the Season stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers.  I first stamped it in Versafine, then in Melon Mambo and using the Rock in Roll Techniques, I went around the edges of the bauble with Rose Red.  Finally I heat embossed the whole thing with sparkle glitter.  It gives it a beautiful shine that's hard to see in this image but I love how crisp it came out.

I admit the card has lots of colour but I really like the retro vibe and I have a cousin that will love it!  Hope you join us this week!
