Christmas Card Set

Rose Red and Melon Mambo

 Real Red and Cherry Cobbler

 Marina Mist and Pacific Point

Certainly Celery and Wild Wasabi

I had so much fun making these cards.  I really enjoyed playing with the colours.  I used my new MFP's "'Tis the Season" set.  I first stamped the bauble in Versamark and then in the light colour all over.  Secondly I then used the rock and roll technique and inked only the edges of the image in the darker colour.  Finally I used sparkle embossing powder and heat embossed the entire image.  The sparkles here are chunkier and darker than the powder I used last week and shows more as a glitter than as a shine.  I like both actually.  Once the bauble was completed, I then fussy cut around it and set it aside.

I stamped the sentiment using my Christmas Cardinal set and dry embossed the image on a precut panel.  To this I added my bauble and assembled my card.  I was a little embarrased to realize I did the entire set out of scraps.
