Zentangle Snowflake

Zentangle seems to be all the new rage.  I just laugh when I consider how often I am trying to get my students to NOT doodle on their papers.

This week on MFP's Inspiration Challenge, we were given three zentangle ideas to play with.  You don't have to do a zentangle on your card, you just need to use the designs as a starting point.  I was inspired by the colour, the white space surrounding the design and the patterns of the second.   I like the colours I used and the idea of creating movement with the design but I've never felt very artistic with my doodling.  I think this is a technique I would need a lot more practice before I would become confident with it.

  5. What a pretty snowflake, including the "cloud" that surrounds it! I think doodling is relaxing and stimulates creativity, and you proved it with this pretty thank-you card! NJ!
