I finally decided to get started on my Father's Day cards this year. I'm still scrap happy so I decided to try my hand at a log cabin design. This was pretty time consuming since I sponged all the strips and ended up rejecting a few that had marks on them that only showed up after inking. DH was watching an action movie though so we enjoyed the time together. The frog image is from Old Island Stamp Co. I've been wanting to ink it forever and keep misplacing it. I had to place a second image over the first one I stamped. I accidentally got ink smudges on it. The frog was inked with Distress Ink and then heat embossed to make it pop a bit against the colourful boarder. The card is huge 6 x 6 inches and is for my grandfather. He loves anything about nature.
