Winter's Solstice
My friend has shown me so many beautiful cards that she's done using vellum that I thought I just had to give it a try. The base is Night of Navy. I then stamped the image on white cardstock and cut it out and highlighted sections of it with copics. To give it a soft, winter's night feel, I've overlaid the card with vellum that I stamped with snowflakes using Versamark. The snowflakes are very soft and I'm so glad it was sunny today so that you can see them in the picture. I've used ribbon to hide the adhesive used on the vellum.
Challenges this card meets:
Paper Jewels - create a night scene
Christmas Card Challenges - trees (in the window and outside)
Challenge Up Your Life - Old MacDonald Had a Farm (a dog and a cat)
Cute Card Thursday - A Tweet or a Flutter (Birds are on the roof)
Moving Along with the Times - Christmas
