Talk Like a Pirate Day

The teacher across the hall from me celebrates "Talk Like A Pirate Day" in his classroom every year so I made him a suitable card.  This was great for me since it's getting close to October and Thanksgiving for those of us that live hear in Canada.  This means that I am going to have to find the flat surface of my dining room table soon.  Everything about this card was a leftover that I wasn't sure what to do about.  The eyepatch and patterned paper, mounted on purple were leftover floating around since DS's birthday in April.  The coin was from another party my second DS went to last January.  The stamp was floating around my table and now has been put back with it's set.  The base was a scrap.  The only item that was not already on the table was the cheesecloth background stamp.  I ended up making 6 cards this week, all from bits from the table, including the bases.  How scary is that?

Challenges this Card Meets:
Creatalicious - School Time.  I'm including it because the card is going to a teacher for a vocabulary, literary based-themed holiday.
The Corrosive Blog Challenge - Cute and Creepy
Tuesday Throwdown - Clean and Simple
Use it Tuesday - Use 2 Hoarded Items (the patch and the coin)
