I Don't Want You To Go...

I'm in the countdown to the end of the school year.  Unfortunately, here in Canada we go right until the very end of June.  With the hot weather though, everyone is just done.  All us teachers are nursing our coffee cups, especially as we are writing report cards.

We used a sketch challenge on MFP's Speedy Fox and Friends.  I cut a mask to make my rectangles.  I love my quilting ruler.  It makes planning so much easier.  The stamps are from MFP's Java Time.  I needed something so I added the bling.  In real life, the bling, sentiment and cup all match. I couldn't get it to work digitally.  I had wanted to use the bling to look like steam but it looks more like champagne bubbles.  However, the image tickled my funny bone so I left them...

  2. What a fun take on the sketch challenge, and yes! I do need coffee! I really like how you added bling to represent the steam coming from the cup - fun idea ;)

  3. Great card Christine. I'm not a coffee drinker but I do love my tea so I'll just pretend it's tea.
