Pocket full of Roses
This week's challenge on Speedy Fox and Friend's challenge is to make a card that uses more than one border. I have no idea why but I fixated on making a pocket card. I got the scalloped border done and then my brain went dead. I love the french scrolls but originally kept trying to find a way to put a sentiment on the bottom. Sometimes, enough is enough. This was a great use your stash challenge. The green is the last of my Mellow Moss scraps, I miss that. This also used up the last of my raffia ribbon. The DP, which I thought I would never use is from My Mind's Eye and it actually became the piece that I used as my inspiration. It works so well with the Great Flowers set from MFPs. I used the flower from one image and the leaves from another on the same set. This was fun and I enjoyed trying something different this week. I may have to try another pocket card.
